PURPOSE

The Transformative Innovation Policy Toolkit supports policy-makers and innovation actors in designing innovation policy aimed at deep systemic transformation. It goes beyond traditional innovation promotion and addresses the question of how innovation can be deliberately used for societal transformation. The toolkit is particularly relevant for addressing major challenges such as climate change and social inequality.

HOW TO USE

The toolkit offers various methods used in policy design and strategic planning. The Theory of Change Canvas helps develop the transformative impact logic. Deep Dives enable in-depth analysis of specific topics. Reflection formats support continuous review and adaptation of the strategy. Methods are used in workshops, strategy processes, or as accompanying instruments for ongoing programs.
