PURPOSE

The UNDP Public Sector Innovation Toolkit provides public organizations and development projects with a comprehensive methods collection to systematically integrate innovation into their work. It addresses the particular challenge of working innovatively in bureaucratic and resource-constrained contexts. The toolkit is particularly relevant for governments, international organizations, and NGOs addressing complex societal challenges.

HOW TO USE

The toolkit offers various methods that are selected based on need and innovation process phase. Actor Mapping helps understand relevant actors, Timeline Mapping analyzes historical developments, and Trend Mapping identifies future trends. Ecocycle Mapping assesses the maturity of programs and World Cafe enables large-group-based idea development.
