PURPOSE
Teams and organizations often lack a shared understanding of their own culture, leading to friction. The Culture Canvas creates a shared picture of the lived and desired culture. It supports recognizing cultural strengths and deliberately developing them further.
HOW TO USE
In a workshop, the team fills out the various canvas fields together and discusses the results. Topics such as vision, values, behavior, and motivation factors are systematically addressed. The canvas can be used both for current-state analysis and for planning a target culture.

The Culture Canvas is a structured visual tool for mapping organizational culture. It encompasses dimensions such as vision, values, behavior, motivation, and strategic differentiation. The canvas format can be printed as a poster and is suitable for collaborative workshop use.
EXAMPLE
Example: Your remote team from four countries has constant misunderstandings because everyone has different ideas about punctuality, feedback, and hierarchy. With the Culture Canvas, you make your respective values, motivations, and behaviors visible and find common ground.
